Ultimate Frisbee (Personal addition #12)

This past weekend I participated in the 20th Annual Hold Back the Snow ultimate frisbee tournament. This was my first time playing in this particular tournament as my first season was last spring. Ultimate is a really good sport to play, and you don't need much experience if you're wanting to start. Some people play to win, but lots of people just play for fun! There are no referees in the game, its all based on the spirit of playing. If a situation occurs where a foul is called, the player can either contest or not contest this foul. The idea at the tournament is that spirit prizes (a mini disc) are given out to one player on the team for each game who demonstrates good sportsmanship. Your always moving and always socializing with lots of different people. It's a great way to make new friends and acquire some skills in a sport.

I had an amazing (and utterly exhausting) weekend and I cannot wait until the spring for the next tournaments!
